Celebrating Innovation and Impact: Highlights from the 2024 PowerOn Awards Ceremony

The 2024 PowerOn Awards Ceremony was a night to remember! Hosted at Hogan Lovells in Washington, D.C., the event brought together a community of program supporters to celebrate the groundbreaking achievements of this year’s PowerOn Award winners, as well as continue to amplify the need for the LGBTQ+ community's access to technology.

The PowerOn Program has been operating for 9 years. The work that the program accomplishes could not be done without the help and involvement of all of our supporters, LGBTQ+ centers, and individuals who strive to make a change in the community. As of 2024, the PowerOn Program has reached 141 Centers in 40 states and territories and our technology has reached over 298,000 individuals, distributing an estimated $155,886 worth of technology.

Explore the program’s impact in our newly released 2023 PowerOn Impact Report.

This year, PowerOn recognized individuals and organizations that have gone above and beyond in advancing technology, community empowerment, and LGBTQ+ advocacy. The 2024 award recipients represent a wide spectrum of impact, from driving health equity to fostering community resilience, and their work continues to inspire.

Our award winners included:

The evening was not only a celebration of past achievements but also a moment to look forward to the future of the PowerOn program.
